Translations

The Embassy translates the following documents: (Ikhraj Kayd, Tazkara, driver license, birth, marriage, divorce, and death certificates) to French or English.

All civil documents must be previously authenticated by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The following documents should be sent to the Embassy:

1- Original document to be translated and 2 additional photocopies.
2- A letter showing the spelling of all names in Latin characters.
3- Self-addressed stamped envelope, Express Post, with phone number.
4- The amount of $20.00:
               - In person: Cash.
               - By mail:  Money order payable to the Embassy of Lebanon.

Translation of Driver’s License
For residents outside the Ottawa area, in addition to the above requirements, please provide a notarized affidavit that the Driver’s License is legal and has not been tampered with and the applicant takes full responsibility for its legality.
