POWER OF ATTORNEY
Power of Attorney
In person
1- One Lebanese ID (Tazkara, Ikhraj Kayd or Passport)
2- The applicant must come to the Embassy to sign the Power of Attorney.
3- Two witnesses are required to sign certain Power of Attorneys (Property, General, Marriage & Divorce).
4- The amount of $50.00 cash per applicant (Mouakel) for a General Power of Attorney.
5- The amount of $25.00 cash per applicant (Mouakel) for a Special Power of Attorney.

By mail
Legalization of Power of Attorney
1- Must contain full information about the applicant, the attorney (Wakeel) and two witnesses.
2- Must be notarized by a Notary Public.
3- Must be legalized by the Province Government:
Ontario: Management Board of Cabinet.
Quebec: Secretary to the Chamber of Notaries.
Newfoundland and Labradors: Department of Justice.
New Brunswick: Office of the Lieutenant-Governor.
Prince Edward Island: Executive Council.
Nova Scotia: Government House- Barristers society.
Manitoba: Office of Lieutenant-Governor, Consumer and Corporate Affairs.
Saskatchewan: Office of Lieutenant-Governor.
Alberta: Alberta Department of Justice.
British Columbia: Office of Lieutenant-Governor, The Law Society of British Columbia.
Yukon: Yukon Department of Justice.
For residents of the City of Ottawa and its surroundings, you can certify all the documents at the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ottawa.
4- Money order payable to the Embassy of Lebanon in the amount of:
- $50.00 per applicant (Mouakel) to legalize a General Power of Attorney.
- $25.00 per applicant (Mouakel) to legalize a Special Power of Attorney.
5- Self-addressed stamped, Express Post, envelope with phone number.

2- A photocopy of the Power of Attorney you wish to cancel.
3- Full address and telephone number in Lebanon of the person to whom the Power of Attorney was given.
4- The amount of $30.00 cash per applicant.

2- Must contain full personal identification of the applicant.
3- A photocopy of the Power of Attorney you wish to cancel.
