Legalization of School, College, and University Certificates
1- All educational documents must be authenticated by the local School Board, and authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Ottawa
2- The amount of $15.00 per certificate:
- In person: Cash.
- By mail: Money order payable to the Embassy of Lebanon, with a Self-addressed stamped, Express Post, envelope with phone number.
* One additional photocopy of each original document you send is required.

Legalization of medical reports
1- Notarized medical bills or reports.
2- The amount of $15.00 per document:
- In person: Cash.
- By mail: Money order payable to the Embassy of Lebanon, with a Self-addressed stamped, Express Post, envelope with phone number.
N.B: For government employees and their families
- Copy of the Lebanese governmental employment ID is also required.
- Copy of Lebanese ID
- The formality is free of charge.

Legalization of Commercial documents
1- All notarized commercial invoices must be authenticated by the local Chamber of Commerce or the Board of Trade.
2- Must be attached to a legalized Certificate of Origin.
3- Fees:
For the commercial invoice: $4.00 per $1000.00, rounded to the nearest $1000.
- Minimum fees $15.00
- Maximum fees $1250.00

Certificate of origin
- $10.00 for certificate of origin, with one attached invoice
- $20.00 for certificate of origin, with two or more attached invoices
4- Money order payable to the Embassy of Lebanon.

1- Notarized by a Notary Public.
2- Legalized by the Province Government:

Quebec: Secretary to the Chamber of Notaries.
Newfoundland and Labradors: Department of Justice.
New Brunswick: Office of the Lieutenant-Governor.
Prince Edward Island: Executive Council.
Nova Scotia: Government House- Barristers society.
Manitoba: Office of Lieutenant-Governor, Consumer and Corporate Affairs.
Saskatchewan: Office of Lieutenant-Governor.
Alberta: Alberta Department of Justice.
British Columbia: Office of Lieutenant-Governor, The Law Society of British Columbia.
Yukon: Yukon Department of Justice.
