REMARKS OF AMBASSADOR MASSOUD MAALOUF
ON THE OCCASION OF THE 4TH ANNIVERSARY
OF THE ASSASSINATION OF PRIME MINISTER RAFIC HARIRI

On the occasion of the fourth Anniversary of the assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafic Hariri, which took place in the "National Arts Centre in Ottawa", Ambassador Maalouf made a short speech in which he spoke about the achievements of the late Prime Minister Hariri and what his loss meant for Lebanon. He also expressed his satisfaction for the launching of the International Tribunal for Lebanon.

The other speakers on this occasion were the President of the Future Movement in Canada Mr. Marwan Osman, Professor Errol Mendes, his Worship the Mayor of Ottawa Mr. Larry O'Brien, the Member of the Lebanese Parliament Mr. Nabil De Freige and the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism the Honourable Jason Kenney.
